Leagues

Monday and Wednesday Morning leagues will have their leagues created by the first 32 curlers that register and then all others will go on their spare list.

    Convenor: Gail Parker

It is fun to play, only requires two players per team, and can be played in an hour!

For more information -> Doubles curling.

7:00 PM draw (depending on registration, there may be a second draw).

    Convenor:  Ross Erwin

Tuesday Mixed is a fun night of 8 end games (around 2 hours). Mixed teams are made up of two men and two women.

Convenors:  Jen Abrams & Kevin Beatty

Monday and Wednesday Morning leagues will have their leagues created by the first 32 curlers that register and then all others will go on their spare list.

First-time curlers are free for Wednesdays and will receive priority.

The men's competitive league plays on Wednesday evenings.  Open to team entry (3, 4, or 5 players) and individual entry options. If you enter as an individual, we will try to place you with a team.  The league is appropriate for experienced curlers.  Convenor: Peter Strickland

Rules of play for the 2025-2026 season:

5-rock rule, 8 ends.  No time rules (but please don’t dawdle!)

Tick shots of guards anywhere in the free guard zone are permitted.

End-of-game tiebreakers are skips rocks (with the understanding that any player from a given team could throw the tie-breaking draw).

Please decide whether to call off a game due to weather by consulting your opposing skip.  Most skips have cell numbers listed on the website (look for Members Only * Member Search).  Kindly let your league convenor know what you decide.

For the playoffs, we will rank teams #1 through #10, with 1 playing 2 for the championship bragging rights, 3 playing 4, 5 playing 6, and so on.  The last-place and second-to-last-place teams play Thursday night that week.  Team ranking is determined as follows

    1. Number of points.  Teams earn 2 points for a win, 1 for a tie, and zero for a loss (ties are unlikely given the skips rocks protocol, but theoretically possible if two teams are both unavailable and the game can’t be rescheduled).
    2. If two or more teams are tied on points, head to head record.
    3. Compare records of tied teams against common opponents, beginning with the highest-ranked team not involved in the tie.
    4. Coin flip.

Ladies competitive league hoping to have at least 8 teams register.

    Convenor: Kim Caron

The Friday evening league is a social-oriented league where curlers of all skills (beginners to experts) can enjoy the sport, and a beverage and snacks together afterward.

Join as an individual, with friends, or as a couple - members of any skill level who wish to curl in a fun, social atmosphere.

There are two draws, 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM.

    Convenor:  Aron Simpson
